A domestic auto and motorcycle parts company has recently successfully developed and mass-produced a new ceramic composite material clutch. This product comprehensively upgrades traditional metal clutches, addressing their issues of rapid wear and poor high-temperature resistance. Utilizing a composite substrate of ceramic fiber and carbon fiber, it achieves a stable coefficient of friction between 0.45 and 0.55, improves high-temperature resistance to 800℃, extends service life by more than twice that of traditional products, and reduces weight by 30%, thus lowering vehicle power loss. Currently, the clutch has passed national automotive parts quality testing and has received initial orders from three major domestic automakers and two motorcycle manufacturers, with a monthly production capacity of 30,000 sets. According to the company's technical director, this clutch also features an optimized heat dissipation structure, effectively preventing overheating failure during prolonged driving, and is compatible with various vehicle types, including gasoline and hybrid vehicles. The company plans to launch an enhanced version for the heavy-duty truck market to further expand application scenarios, and expects sales of this series of products to exceed 120 million yuan this year.
